Obituary of Marie Elizabeth Corke

Marie Elizabeth Corke, 82, of Freehold, passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, at Mattison Crossing in Manalapan, NJ. Marie was born in Jersey City, New Jersey. Prior to retirement Marie was employed as an assistant vice president for Continental Insurance.  She loved her dogs, listening to music and going to the theatre.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Matthew and Eileen; loving husband Donald Corke; brother Matthew Zubicki, Jr. and sister-in-law Mary Ann Corke.  She is survived by her daughter Kathleen Marhold (James); brother Thomas Zubicki (Mary); brother-in-law Robert Corke, sister-in-law Elaine Zubicki and grandson Patrick Marhold.                                           

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, April 11^th , from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church in Manalapan, NJ on Friday at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you make memorial donations to either The Monmouth County SPCA or Phoenix Productions in Red Bank, NJ.
