Marie was my first boss at Continental Insurance in Livingston, New Jersey. We were working at the beginning of the computer era where our first computer was a Tandy 1000 and then we proceeded to use an IBM 3270 computer with dual 5 1/4 floppy disks. I remember that Marie had an abacus in her office. She will always be my favorite boss because she was so fair and compassionate. I grieve for the loss for her daughter, Kathy and her family.

Marie and I were friends since the early 1970's when our daughters were in kindergarten together. Later wewere co- presidents of The Livingston League of Women Voters chapter. She was always there for me. When my daughter Laurie was comatose for 4 days after a stroke at 17, Marie was at my side constantly. She held my hand and is the only one I remember during that awful time. I miss her devotion, friendship and love.

To Kathy, Jim and Patrick
So awful to learn about Marie’s death. I had the deep pleasure to know Marie as a dear friend for a really long time. We met in Livingston through the League of Women Voters as active volunteers. Then our families became close, enjoying many fun social gatherings and also sharing the joys and sorrows life sent to both of us.
Marie was a kind, strong, smart and dignified woman devoted to her family. Now she is at rest with Donald. May she have eternal peace and may God provide comfort to the Corke family.
With our love and prayers
Cynthia and Richard Vallario
