Obituary of John J. Nazzaro, D.M.D.

 John J Nazzaro, DMD, 58, of Millstone Township, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2024, surrounded by his family and friends.  John was raised in Fort Lee, NJ before settling with his family in Millstone Township, NJ.

Beloved husband of Laureen Nazzaro for 25 years, devoted father of son John and daughter Carly; Adored son of the late John and Marlene Nazzaro; cherished brother of Lisa Cirillo and husband Frank; Robin Kennedy and husband Danny; Cherished brother-in-law of Wendy Rutigliano and her husband George; devoted son-in-law to Roseann Stoppay; beloved uncle to his nieces and nephews and his two beloved cats Gia and Bella. 

John attended Tufts University Dental School, Boston MA, 1991.  He completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick, NJ where he met his business partner and cherished friend, David Stramback, DDS.  Together, they opened Acadia Dental in Matawan and have been servicing the community for the past 30 years.  In addition, John opened his second location, Advanced Family Dentistry in South Plainfield and for the past 12 years he continued to provide his patients with outstanding dental care.  John had an infectious smile, an amazing sense of humor, entrepreneurial spirit, a love of golf and lived life to the fullest.  He enjoyed time well spent with family and friends. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, January 28^th, from 1:00pm-5:00pm, at Freeman Manalapan Malboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Nicholas R.C. Church in Palisades Park, NJ on January 29^th at 11:30 am.  Entombment will follow at Madonna Cemetery in Fort Lee, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Dr John Nazzaro Memorial Scholarship Fund.  As a recipient of a scholarship from Paramus Catholic, John was very passionate about giving back to the community that helped him financially after his Dad passed away in 1980.
