Obituary of John O'Connor

John O'Connor, 82, of Manalapan, passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2023. He was born in Brooklyn, New York and was employed as a High School teacher at Fort Hamilton High School in Brooklyn, NY.

John was predeceased by his parents James and Eileen O'Connor. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Kelly O’Connor; his daughters Eileen Mary O'Connor of Old Bridge, NJ, Erin Joan O'Connor of Manalapan, NJ and Kristin Eleanor O'Connor of Manalapan, NJ.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Church, 91 Stillhouse Road, Millstone, NJ  08510 on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Francis Breadline at www.st.francisbreadline.org.  This is an incredible organization located on West 31st Street in NYC where over 300 men, women and children are offered hot meals for free every day.  Many of them are homeless, disabled, unemployed, veteran or fallen on hard times.
