Obituary of Allen David Saltzman

Allen David Saltzman [77], of Morganville, NJ, passed away on 07/12/2023 in Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus Veterans Hospital in NY. Allen was born in Bronx, NY to Simon and Esther on 12/14/1945. Upon graduating high school he went on to earn a BA from Baruch College. After serving his country in the Vietnam War for the US Army, he went on to start and own a title examining company with his wife Janice for over 45 years. He enjoyed listening to jazz music, attending sporting events, and participating in veteran events around the country. He received the Purple Heart Award for his service in active combat and was involved in local veterans’ affairs and related charities.

 

Allen is predeceased by his parents Simon and Esther Saltzman; and his sister Maxine Saltzman. He is survived by his son Evan, daughter Tracey, grandson Adam, and son-in-law Michael. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janice. 

Funeral service and burial will be held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park & Mausoleum in Morganville, NJ on Sunday, July 16th at 10:30 am, for a family reception, and 11:00 am service with Rabbi Edelstein officiating.
