I did not know Allen a long time, but for the time I did I began to appreciate him, his humor and his stories. We met when the Jester's Highway Motorcycle Club (I am Vice President) made the decision to align our Club with a Veteran's Organization. We were introduced to Chapter 12 and that's where are synergy began. We also Broke Fast together in 2022 when we were mutually invited as guests of the Town Mayor, Susan Cohen. But, as always, I learned more about Allen at his funeral when sitting next to his friends and sharing stories. David Drucker

Al or as we knew him then "Saltz" was quite the character. It was great to meet his wife Janice so many years later in our lives. Allen's participation in civil events was known to us and admired. That he passed in a VA hospital is a comforting thought that he was not forgotten by the nation he served. Surely he will be remembered by his compatriots.
