Obituary of Nicholas Stephen Tyrpak

Nicholas Stephen Tyrpak, 79, of Freehold, New Jersey and Fort Meyers Beach, Florida, left for Heaven on Thursday, July 6, 2023 with his loving family at his side. Nicholas was born in Warwick, New York. He was a member of the teamsters Union Local 469 for 39 years and a union shop steward for many years at the Edison Ford plant, he also worked 10 years for the Howell Township school system after his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Freehold Elks. During his retirement he loved his boat named Livin’ On A Prayer, relaxing on the beach, four mile morning walks, his backyard pool, hunting, fishing with his grandson Anthony, tending to his garden full of tomatoes and peppers, watching the New York Yankees and listening to Elvis and country music in his cool cars. He loved his grand-dogs Sushi & Saki. Nicholas was in the Marine Corps serving in Cuba Bay of Pigs, Haiti & Dominican Republic from 1962 to 1966.

 

 

Nicholas was predeceased by his parents Nicholas S and Marion A Tyrpak. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy E Tyrpak of 57 years, son David J Tyrpak of Freehold NJ; daughter Leanne E Fabiano (Mark) of Colts Neck NJ; brother Michael J Tyrpak of Howell NJ; sisters Maryann Tyrpak of Howell NJ and Diane Corliss (Roger) of Key West FL; grandson Anthony Fabiano; and nephew Robert Corliss. Many relatives and wonderful friends in Florida.                                     .

 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, July 9, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church on Monday at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Donations can be made to the American Red Cross in his honor.
