Obituary of Karen Louk

 

Karen Louk, 72, of Neptune, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at Jersey Shore Medical Center, Neptune.  She was born in Neptune and grew up in the Englishtown area.  She was Dietary Supervisor for Pinebrook Nursing Home for 17 years then became an O.R. Scheduler at Centrastate Medical Center for 30 years. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, reading, the beach and reminiscing about the past.

 

She is predeceased by her parents Charles and Gertrude McDermott; brother, Timmy and sister in-law Holly. Karen is survived by her long-term partner Wayne Roy; children Jerry Louk and Laurie Louk; Brothers Kevin and Tom “Mot” (Sandy) McDermott; Granddaughters Amanda and Cheyanne; great - grandchildren Amiyah, Annaleigha and Serenity Jade; Nieces and nephews Margie, Tom, Chelsea and Brooke.
