Karen was such a sweet person. I first met Karen at the house in the woods in Englishtown. We took long walks and bike rides. Karen also drove cross country with me to California. We had a great time with the top down singing at the top of our lungs "Going to the Chapel". We stopped in Nebraska at Aunt Flo s and Uncle Bobs. Then onto Alamo. It was a great trip and I know created great memories. Karen had a real knack for writing poetry and she wrote some wonderful poems about our trip. Love you, Karen. RIP. Love, Joan

Yo, it's me, Karen's cousin, Mark. My condolences to the McDermott family. Growing up Karen was like an older sister to me. It has been awhile but I remember Karen always liked to reminisce. Thanks for the memories. Rest in peace.

My sincere sympathy to Wayne and Karen's family. Karen and I worked together for many years. She was one of the sweetest strongest people I have ever known. She had a deep love for Wayne and her family. She often share pictures and stories about her grand daughters and great grand daughters with me. Always with great joy and pride. I will miss you Karen, God's speed, rest in peace. Beth
