Obituary of Angel Benitez

Angel Benitez, 60 of Morganville, passed away on Friday, June 24th, 2022 at home. Angel was born in Jersey City, New Jersey and resided in Morganville for 28 years. Angel was employed as the Proprietor for Diplomat Club in Elizabeth, NJ. 

Angel is survived by his parents, Ana Torres and her husband Samuel Santiago and his father, Angelo Benitez. His siblings, Elizabeth Eramo, Gilbert Benitez, Janet Benitez- Albino and her husband Joe Albino, niece, Addison, nephews Andrew and Logan.  His ex-wife and lifelong partner Julie Lugo, their daughter Ashley, her husband Charles and their two children, Avery and Emily. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 28th, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm, and Wednesday June 29^th from 10:00am to 11:00am at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan.  A cryptside service will be held at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery & Mausoleum, Marlboro on Wednesday, June 29^th at 11:30am.
