Unfortunately, i met Jeannine once. With that meeting, she was so sweet, bubbly, full of laughter. We spoke of her younger years, living in my neighborhood with her family. I met one of her other daughters. Her daughter Dawn n her son-in-law Youness are 2 great people. As i continue to read about our beloved Jeannine- all her life, her creativity and her strength throughout her life with family, friends and community, etc. I see her strengths in Dawn.
She will be greatly missed.

My memory of Jeannine started with a train ride from Matawan into downtown NYC to our jobs on Wall street. We chatted about the books we were reading and she eventually taught me how to crochet. The funny thing about me learning how to crochet. I never learned how to finish a square, hence I ended up making a VW car cover!!! We became instant friends...The train ride back and forth into the city became more of a social event, meeting more people and developing good relationships... We looked forward to Friday nights home from the city, lots of laughs and cocktails with friends. On one of these trips Jeannine met Arthur and the love story began...They married and had 2 wonderful daughters. Our lives still intertwined and our families took many vacations up to Lake George together and each year more family and friends joined us... What a blast we had!! I/We will always cherish these memories.. Beth & Walter

We had such good times with Jeannine and Arthur. Going out all over the city & enjoying fun crazy dinners at The Meadowlands.watching
Awesome Almahurst and Artie the Smarty!
This picture was taken in the early 80’s at a 50’s party.
We always had a great time. Jeannine and Arthur were
perfect for one another.
Little did we know what trials they would face. Jeannine
handled it all with grace, humor, hard work and determination. Dawn and Dani were always caring, helpful and supportive.
Being so well taken care of and loved by her beautiful daughters attests to the wonderful woman she was.
