We are saddened to announce that on Friday, October 22nd, 2021, Edward Lawrence Weiss of Manalapan, NJ passed away at home. Edward was born and raised in Bronx, New York and later resided in Freehold, NJ for over 25 years. He worked on the New York Stock Exchange floor for 47 years.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Sheila Bonny Feldman, his mother, Doris (Isadora) Rosenbaum, his father, Leonard Weiss, and brother, Robert Weiss.

Edward is survived by his loving children, Cindy Morath and her husband Craig Morath of Middletown, NJ and Rikki Bobchin and her husband Franklin Bobchin of Cranbury, NJ. Edward leaves behind his honorary family members, Barbara Trujillo and her son, Robert Trujillo along with many special family members and friends.

Edward, otherwise referred to as ‘Ed’ or ‘Eddie’ was best known for his witty humor. As he would say, “you can call me Ed or Eddie, just don’t call me late for dinner.” He will always be remembered as a devoted caregiver to his late wife, Sheila and a loving father to his daughters, Cindy and Rikki, who spent his last days taking care of him. His grandchildren were his greatest pride and joy as he enjoyed nothing more than sharing their greatest accomplishments with friends.

Family and Friends are invited to visit Saturday, October 30th from 1:00-7:00 P.M. at the residence of Rikki and Franklin Bobchin, 19 Washington Drive, Cranbury, NJ 08512.

Due to extensive family food allergies please note that all food will be provided and only your company is requested. Come share stories in celebration of his life, as he would have wanted.
