My name is Frank Small and I worked next to a firm that Eddie was affiliated with in the EBR on the NYSE. It wasn't his main room but he would work out of there from time to time. Always loved when he was there. Typical Bronx guy. No airs. Great sense of humor. Remember around the holidays the floor used to serenade him with Eddie Weiss to the tune of Adelweiss. One Winter day I was talking to him and he mentioned he took a spill on the icy sidewalk. He wasn't really complaining much but said kinda matter of factly that it was annoying that his side hurt. He pulled up his shirt and he had a huge black and blue bruise down his side. I said Jeez Eddie what are you doing, you should be home. And he was like, Ah, what can you do? Still remember it. Tough guy.
