Obituary of Elton Jared Reid

Elton ‘Jared’ Reid, 86, of Colts Neck, passed away on Sunday, March 28th, 2021 at home. Born in, Hartford, CT, he resided in Colts Neck for 55 years. Jared had a Master’s Degree in Engineering and was employed by Bell Lab Corp. before retiring.  Elton was an avid golfer and loved the Yankees.   

He was predeceased by his wife Marcia in 2017 and his sister Nancy.  Jared is survived by three children and their spouses; Robyn and David Cook, Lynda and Louis Fiorentino, and William and Michelle Reid; seven grandchildren, Alexandra and Kaitlynne Cook, Theresa Green, Dominic, and August Fiorentino, and Bayly and Ethan Reid; and two great grandchildren, Kathryn and Mary Marwa.

 A funeral liturgy will be on Friday April 2nd at 11:00 AM at Colts Neck Reformed Church, Colts Neck. Interment will follow at Atlantic Cemetery, Colts Neck.
