Obituary of John M. Walsh

John M. Walsh, 76, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, November 9, 2014, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in New York City, he has resided in Manalapan for the past 47 years. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran. John was a Manalapan Township Committeeman for many years and also served as Mayor. He was predeceased by his wife, Rose Ann in 2002. He is survived by his children and son-in-law, Brian of Marlboro and Laurie and William Hoegler of Manalapan; and three granddaughters, Nicole, Emily and Grace. Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, Nov. 12th, from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:15 AM at St. Gabriel's Historic Church, Marlboro.
