My beloved Aunt Mary, you were such a sweet, loving and kind person! I will always remember all of the fun and BLESSED family get-togethers, Thanksgivings, Easters, etc. How I miss those days! You were an enormous blessing to us all. You provided me and my sisters two beautiful and sweet cousins: Linda and Elaine, and such an incredibly fun-loving Uncle George! Thank you for always being there for us, especially when Dad (brother Mike) was sick back in 2005. You and Uncle George, and other family members came all the way out here to Long Island to visit him! We love you and shall miss you very, very much. Be with our Lord Jesus.

Dear Yiayia, you taught me so much. I will always treasure our time. Gifts from Yiayia: Love of whipped butter and bread My namesake (almost) which made me want Lynen to have my mom's name (almost) Choc chip cookies with extra butter (not a joke they are fluffier she said) Green eyes "Money is only green paper" Grit and perspective Sewing lessons Spinach pie recipe Love of babies Candies in her purse while driving to church Appreciation of art and classical music Travel and enjoying cities Repeating the phrase "this too shall pass." The best gift was not money for a train to my law classes or cookies sent to college that were famous "Yiayia's cookies" but that she was a kind mother, which made my wonderful mother, and that hopefully flows through me and others.
