I thank God that I knew Joe. We were great friends in service in Germany. We both served in 322nd Signal Battalion 5th Corp. Joe and I enjoyed roaming around Frankfurt in our spare time and we joined the Weisbaden Rod and Gun club and both ordered firearms to be sent home, at ridiculously low prices! I'm sorry that Joe has passed, I know he and Anita are together at peace and at rest, and I know we will all meet again someday. God bless you all.

I was saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I have been very lucky to have treated Joe and Anita in my dental offices for many years and I considered them to be friends as well as patients. Joe worked with my dad at Merck for many years and I met him because of their friendship. I enjoyed them both very much and we will all miss him as we do Anita. I am so sorry to hear of Joe's passing and I send my condolences to his family. Joe was one of the nicest people I ever met at Merck. He was always a gentleman and had a smile on his face. Seeing Joe come into our office was enough to put a smile on my face. I never heard anybody say an unkind word about Joe. I hope his family takes comfort in all the good memories they have of him. Rest in peace.
