My deepest condolences to Mrs. Voorhees and her entire family on loss of this exceptional person, but take heart in knowing Garrett is in a tranquil and restful place. It hard to believe the “Chief” is no longer with us. He was a great and honorable man who always had my respect in life and will continue to have it in my memories. Rest in peace Chief Voorhees, I will think of you whenever I hear a fire engine’s siren or see the flash of their lights. Todd Augustin
