Obituary of Carol Ann Sherman

Carol Ann Sherman of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on June 5, 2015 in Delray Beach, Florida. She was born and raised in Freehold and received her education at Moore College of Art and the University of Miami where she earned her fine arts degree with a major in painting. Carol Ann resided in South Florida and established a busy life juggling her career and her art while also teaching watercolor and drawing to adults. Her paintings are characterized by a layering of color on color and tone on tone. Carol Ann's style is one of contemporary representationalism. She saw life as one major work of art full of whimsy and lush color. Left to cherish her memory are her loving companion, George Kenney; her sister, Cynthia Sherman; and her three nieces, Lisa Brenner, Laura Brenner and Cambria Gosman. A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 11th, at 10:00 a.m. at the Freehold Jewish Center Cemetery in Freehold. Carol Ann will be laid to rest next to her father, Louis and her mother, Joyce. Freeman Funeral Home, Freehold is in charge of her arrangements.
