Obituary of Vera Maud Kittle

Vera Maud Kittle, 89, of Manchester, formally of Freehold Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Centra State Medical Center surrounded by her family.  Vera was born in Newark, NJ and then raised her family in Belleville, before moving to Freehold Township in 1971.   She thoroughly enjoyed watching all sports, especially the NY Giants.  She and her husband were season ticket holders for many years.  She enjoyed annual trips to the St. Lawrence River where she loved spending time with her family.  Vera was a communications consultant for Verizon (formally NJ Bell Telephone) for over 20 years.  Prior to her career with Verizon, she attended Barbizon School of Modeling in New York City.  She worked as a freelance model and danced for Arthur Murray Studios, New York City. 

Vera was predeceased by her parents Phillip A. Miller, Jr. and Vera Mayes; her husband Henry Robert Kittle Sr.; her son Henry Robert Kittle, Jr.; her daughter Jayne Kittle Perry; her sister Carol Selby and grandson Zachary Perry. She is survived by her daughter Laura Kiwit (Jerry) of Freehold NJ; her brother Phillip A. Miller III (Joan) of Howell NJ; her brother James Miller (Phyllis) of Freehold NJ; and her grandkids Kristen Shatz (Mitchell), Jillian Pullen (Stephen), David Kittle (Jennifer), Samantha Numis (Travis), Matthew Kittle (fiance’ Caitlyn), Jason Kittle (Brittany) and Jacob Perry (Candance).  She is also survived by 12 great-grand children
