Obituary of Manoj Kumar Jain

Dr. Manoj Kumar Jain, 77, of Freehold, NJ, passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025. Manoj was born in New Delhi, India and came to New York City in 1967. He was a telecommunications engineer by trade and last worked for AT&T/Bell Labs. A resident of Freehold since 1984, Manoj loved to tend to his home garden, serve as a Master Gardener and Composter, play Monday evening bridge with his fellow card comrades, and in his spare time could often be found in a variety of exercises classes at his local YMCA where he was a member for the last 40 years.     

Manoj was predeceased by his parents Pitamber Das Jain and Savitri Devi Jain; sister Dr. Manju Gupta (Prakash) and brother Rishab Jain (Ila).  He is survived by his wife Meera Jain, daughters Sonal Jain (partner Ren Owens) and Neela Jain; brother Chandra Jain (Madhu), sisters Abha Jain (Padam) and Sangeeta Jain (Sukant), a number of beloved nieces and nephews including Maneesh, Bhaskar, Rahul, Ritesh, Shwetabh, Anudh, and Somil; as well as his faithful cat TJ. 

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday, January 23^rd, from 11:30AM to 1:00PM, at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ.  A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan-Marlboro Funeral Home on Thursday at 1:00PM.
