Obituary of Leon Nelson Trout
Leon Nelson Trout, 90, of Brick, NJ, passed away on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Ocean Medical Center. Leon was born in South Amboy, New Jersey. Prior to retirement he was employed as a sheet metal construction worker. Leon loved to play sports and hunt; he hunted on opening day for 70 years. He loved the outdoors and tending to his vegetable garden and growing flowers. He liked playing cards and especially enjoyed spending time with his grand and great grandchildren.
Leon was predeceased by his parents Leon and Susanna Trout; loving wife Virginia Trout; sisters Sandy Vena and Judy Mason; brother Glen Trout and granddaughter Brianna Macaluso. He is survived by his daughters Linda Seniszyn (Albert), Robbin Hilmer, Lisa Macaluso (Michael), Linda Balint (Steve) and Patricia Maffey (Andrew); sons Lee Trout (Darla Petrone), Richard Sinck (Jill) and Jonathan Sinck (Jeannine); sister Susie Jiosi; brother Calvin Trout; grandchildren John Seniszyn, Jennifer Babcock, Michael Sinck, Stephanie Fox, Michael Macaluso, Bryan Petrone, Steven Balint, Drew, Matthew and Meghan Maffey, Troy and Bret Patton and eight great-grandchildren.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Monday, December 2nd, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. Interment will follow at Old Tennent Cemetery in Manalapan, NJ. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital https://www.stjude.org/donate.
