Obituary of Mary Jane Terraghi

Mary Jane Terraghi, née Gonsalves, age 64, of Monroe, New Jersey, passed away on October 18, 2024. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she grew up in Bethpage, Long Island, before settling in Manalapan, New Jersey where she lived for 30 years and raised her family.

Mary Jane was the epitome of selflessness, always putting the needs of her family above her own. As a beloved wife, mother, sister, and aunt, she nurtured her family with endless love and dedication.

She is predeceased by her parents, Edward and Irene Gonsalves and her brother, Edward Gonsalves Jr. Mary Jane is survived by her devoted husband of 34 years, Bob Terraghi; her sons, Robert Terraghi (Alexandra) and Christopher Terraghi (Jackie); her sister, Alice Carbone; her sister-in-law, Vicki and many loving nieces and nephews. Her cherished dog Reggie, and grand-dog, Yogi, also survive her.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, October 22nd from 5:00PM to 9:00PM and Wednesday, October 23rd from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 N, Manalapan, NJ. A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, October 23rd at 10:30AM at Marlboro Cemetery, Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ. Entombment will follow at Marlboro Cemetery, Hwy 79, Morganville, NJ.
