Obituary of Marie Josephine Fama

Marie Josephine Fama, 86, of Old Bridge, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Marie was born in Newark, New Jersey. She loved to read, cook and spend time with family and friends.

Marie was predeceased by her parents Augustine and Josephine Nardine.  She is survived by her loving husband Lawrence Fama and her son Reverend Lawrence Fama; her brother James Nardine and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, September 15^th , from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Old Bridge, NJ on Monday at 10:30 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in Jamesburg, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Legacy Fund, St. Thomas The Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
