John J. Rockford Jr., 80, of Manalapan, passed away on Monday, August 20, 2012, at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold. Born in Brooklyn, he has resided in Manalapan for the past 45 years. John was a U.S. Army Korean War veteran. He was a member of the Electrician Local Union #3 in Queens, NY before retiring and a member of the N.R.A.
He was predeceased by his wife, Elaine, in 2010. He is survived by his children, Debra Simpson of Tampa, FL, Mary Cerdeira of Branchburg, and John Rockford III of Manalapan; grandson, RJ Cerdeira; and brother-in-law, Otto Hartman of Manalapan.
Interment will be private.
