Obituary of Marilyn Cipaldo

Please share a memory of Marilyn to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Marilyn Cipaldo, age 91, of Manalapan, NJ, died peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, surrounded by her loving family. Marilyn was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY before moving to Manalapan 16 years ago.

Marilyn and her husband, Charlie, who predeceased her in 2023, shared 67 loving years together.  Marilyn had many interests and enjoyed traveling and dancing.  She was employed as a leader for Weight Watchers, and enjoyed helping people live a healthier lifestyle.  She was always encouraging and showed that encouragement through easy conversation with the many people she counseled over her career.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Vincent Cipaldo, Steven Cipaldo, his wife, Gloria, Terri Bruno, and her husband, Richard.  She was the proud and loving grandmother of Nicole, Richard, and Jamie Bruno, and Steven Cipaldo, Jr., his wife Elle, and her great grandson Miles Cipaldo.

The family will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 25th, from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm at Freeman Funeral Homes, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726 (www.freemanfuneralhomes.com).  A Funeral liturgy will take place on Monday, August 26th at 10:30 am at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church, 186 Gordons Corner Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726.  Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.  To leave a condolence or find directions, please visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
