Obituary of Stephanie Laddick O'Neil
Stephanie Laddick O'Neil, 79, of Bridgewater, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in Somerset. Born in Newburgh, NY, Steph moved to Marlboro, NJ more than 40 years ago, where she created a life filled with love, care and dedication to others.
Before retiring, Steph worked as a registered nurse and then as a health educator for Centrastate Medical Center, where she touched the lives of countless people with her compassion and expertise. Outside of her professional life, Steph cherished time with her family and friends, always offering a warm smile and open heart.
In Marlboro, Steph found immense joy singing with the St. Gabriel's choir, where her voice uplifted and inspired those around her. After relocating to Laurel Circle in Bridgewater, NJ in 2022, she acclimated quickly to become an active and beloved pillar of the community as a member of the Resident Council and Chair of the Dining Committee. She dedicated her life to helping others, and her time at Laurel Circle certainly continued her on that path.
Steph was predeceased by her beloved husband, Pat in 2021 and her parents Mae and Stephen Laddick Jr. She is survived by her son Brendan and daughter-in-law Rebecca O'Neil of Glen Rock, NJ, as well as her cherished grandchildren Charlotte and Nathan, who will forever hold her in their hearts. Steph's legacy of love, care and community will live on through the many lives she touched.
