“You give but little when you give of your possessions, it’s when you give of yourself that you truly give.” Working with Fran for 15 years, via the adolescent mental health field and in the Special Olympics arena, I can truly testify that this indeed sums up her life in service to others!
Fran was an ordinary person who did extraordinary things. The young women that she worked with always looked up to her as a role model. There was always a twinkle in her eye that betrayed a lifetime of laughter . Fran would walk into a room and immediately gain the respect of those that she cared for. Those who knew her would attest that Fran could communicate more with the arch of her eyebrow than an entire speech. She would always impress on the young women she was in care of that “ winners take responsibility but losers blame others. Many of the young women that she worked with kept contact with her after they graduated from program, a true testimony that she had a positive impact on their lives. Various bumps in life‘s road that Fran experienced became the fabric of her personal journey. Fran’s legacy will indeed be that she pursued her passions, she honored her dreams, and always cherish those around her. Fran you will be truly. missed but certainly not forgotten! God bless!!

Fran taught me many things like how to be reslient and also that I had a voice when for a long time n my life I had felt like I didn't have one. She helped shape who I am today. She was a mom to me, I wish I had said more often how important she was to me.Fran was a beautiful soul that will be missed. I love you Fran

Oh Fran I am so happy we had some time together at Luke's graduation party. I can't begin to imagine how much it took for you to drive up to Pennsylvania. It just goes to show how much family meant to you. I have so many memories of you one fun one is at Thanksgiving I put out dessert and you smiled and took the huge bowl of rice pudding and said this is mine. I'm not sure I ever told you how your strength when Glen died was so amazing and how it helped me when my Michael died. I could go on and on you were the BEST part of Glen's life I love you for that. Glad we got to hug and say goodbye. Sleep peacefully with your angels. Love Joan
