Obituary of MaryAnn Barta

MaryAnn Barta, 75, of Englishtown, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Centra State Medical Center in Freehold, NJ. MaryAnn was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, lived most of her adult life in Eltingville, Staten Island until she retired to New Jersey several years ago.  One of her hobbies was nature watching, especially the bugs and butterflies.  MaryAnn had a sweet tooth and always enjoyed a dessert!  She also would never miss an episode of Ancient Aliens.  In her spare time MaryAnn could often be found gardening. 

Maryann was predeceased by her parents Phillp and Yvonne Cascio.  She is survived by her son George Barta (Michelle) and daughter Veronica Robertini (Vincent); sister Yvonne Burzo (Joseph); brother Cosimo Cascio (Regina) and grandchildren Kayla, Vincent, Isabella and Alexia.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Wednesday, June 26, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's Historic Church in Marlboro, NJ on Thursday at 12:15 PM.
