Obituary of Nettie N Passantino

Nettie “Nickie” Passantino, 91, of Freehold, passed away on Thursday, June 20th. Nettie was born in Brooklyn, New York. An avid reader, she also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, puzzle books, visits to Atlantic City, eating good food, and spending time with her two children and grandson. Before retiring, Nettie was employed as a Human Resources Administrator for Deutsche Bank, a job she very much enjoyed and reminisced about often.

Nettie was predeceased by her parents Anthony and Fannie Mercuri; her brother Tony Mercuri and her beloved husband Frank Passantino.  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Marie Passantino of Hazlet NJ; her daughter and son-in-law Laura and Paul Stegmann of Old Field, NY; her brother Bruce Mercuri and loving grandson, the apple of her eye, James Stegmann.                                             

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, June 23rd, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10:00AM on June 24th at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Freehold.
