Obituary of Ronald J. Lovenguth

Ronald J. Lovenguth, 85, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Ronald was born in Orange, New Jersey.  He was a manager of port operations at Sealand in Port Newark, NJ and the owner/operator of Gordons Corner Deli & Bus Tickets in Manalapan.  Ronald loved fishing and gardening. In his spare time could often be found watching the Giants and the Mets.

Ronald was predeceased by his parents John and Helen and loving wife Mary Jean (Sandy); son Robert Walsh; sister Fern Lovenguth; brothers Wayne Lovenguth, Robert Lovenguth and granddaughter Veronica. He is survived by his sons Joseph Walsh (Ann) and James Walsh (Lynn); daughter Fern Lovenguth; brother Douglas Lovenguth; daughter-in-law Michele Walsh and 6 grandchildren Nicole, Shannon, Sean, Vanessa, Brandon, Joey and great-grandchildren Dev, Ellie and Maxx.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Tuesday, June 18^th , from 4:00PM  to 8:00PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ.  A funeral service will be held at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home on Wednesday at 10:00AM.
