Obituary of Bryan Martin Hrycyk

Please share a memory of Bryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Bryan Martin Hrycyk, 69, of Freehold Township, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Bryan was born in New York and grew up in Manalapan before moving to Freehold in 1982. Bryan was employed by the Township of Middletown Sewage Authority, retiring in 2020.

Bryan is survived by his loving wife Ginger (Higley) Hrycyk; sons Sean Hrycyk (Lisa) and Eric Hrycyk (Stevie); daughter Laura Hrycyk, and his  grandchildren Raider, Marlie, Ace and Tyden Hrycyk who will all miss him immensely.

Bryan was passionate about many things - bike riding, camping, sports, fishing, and exceeded at them all.  Even with all of his hobbies and interests, he never once sacrificed spending time and creating memories with his family.  His wife, his children, and being Pops to his grandchildren was always number one in his life.  So many friends became family over a glass of bourbon and a cigar, talking about what movie he saw that week. He created a beautiful life and had a network of people who loved and respected him more than words.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Thursday June13th, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, at Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Friday, June 14th at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. Family is requesting memorial donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital www.stjude.org .To leave a condolence or find directions, visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
