Obituary of Kristina Godich

Please share a memory of Kristina to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Kristina Godich, 31, of Manalapan, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.  Kristina was born in Uzbekistan and moved to the United States (New Jersey) 30 years ago as an infant. She was employed as a Vice President of Risk Management at Wells Fargo.

Kristina was a cherished daughter, whose love for her parents knew no bounds. She was a loving wife and a best friend to a husband who adored and spoiled her. She was a devoted mother, whose love and adoration for her little boy knew no limits. Kristina was a shining light in her family’s life, a beacon of joy and warmth that illuminated every single moment of their lives. From her first steps to her last embrace, Kristina showered her family with loving care, affection, gratitude and unwavering support. Her laughter echoed through their home, her hugs were the most comforting embrace, and her love was a constant source of strength and gratitude. She cherished every moment spent with her family, whether it was sharing stories around the dinner table or simply basking in each other's presence.

Kristina was a huge animal lover and had a special place in her heart for the less-fortunate, sickly, injured and homeless animals, she would nurse them back to health and provide a warm, loving haven for them. Each wagging tail and grateful purr was a testament to her selfless devotion and unwavering kindness.

Kristina also loved to travel and explore the world. Her wanderlust knew no bounds as she embarked on adventures to distant lands, embracing new cultures with an infectious enthusiasm. Whether it was hiking through lush rainforests, skiing the highest slopes, strolling along cobblestone streets, or marveling at breathtaking sunsets by the ocean, she found beauty in every corner of the globe. Each passport stamp was a testament to her insatiable curiosity and her unwavering love for discovery.

It wouldn’t be right not to mention that Kristina was a fabulous fashionista who strutted through life with style and sass. Her love affair with fashion was matched only by her obsession with shoes—each pair a masterpiece, each step a statement. Her closet was a shoe lover's paradise - from sleek stilettos to cozy sneakers, she had a pair for every occasion, and then some. Though she may have left this world too soon, Kristina’s legacy of fabulous footwear lives on, reminding us to always put our best foot forward and leave a little sparkle wherever we go. Her spirit lives on in the memories of those whose lives she touched and the countless stories of her unforgettable travels.

Kristina’s love for her family remains etched in their hearts, a bond that transcends time and space. Forever in their thoughts, she remains a beloved precious daughter, adored and beautiful wife, loving and devoted mother, amazingly wonderful granddaughter, niece and cousin, forever cherished and dearly missed.

Kristina is survived by her parents Arthur and Marina Godich; loving husband Benjamin Futerman; son Jayson Futerman; grandmothers Lily Khodjaev and Eva Godich; grandfather Leonid Godich; aunts Alina Chekrijeva, Margarita Gurevich and Regina Godich and cousins Anjelika Chekrijeva, Lalita Chekrijeva and Vialetta Chekrijeva, David Gurevich and Daniel Gurevich.
