Though I never met Amanda in person we started a Osteosarcome support group over 10 years ago. We built it up to the point today Amanda's passion to help, helps over 8000 people. Miss you Amanda, you were a true fighter and had the kindest heart.

Amanda was the first other person I met (online) who also survived Osteosarcoma. Her Facebook group was a great help to me. And we kept in touch because I am a lifelong Detroiter and her family were also Detroit Lions fans. :) I wish to give my condolences to her wonderful family. She was a wonderful human being and was a great inspiration to those of us fighting Osteosarcoma. Peace to you all and love from Detroit!

Amanda was the kind of person who could light up a room with her presence. Her smile and determination will stay with me forever. She has an amazing family that will continue her quest to find a cure for ALS. She was a fighter and even with all the terrible diagnoses she received in life, she never once gave up and never wanted pity. I remember her wedding to my cousin like it was yesterday. To this day, it was one of the most beautiful events I've ever witnessed. I also remember the day I learned she had ALS, now I will remember her passing. So few people enter your life and just make it better. I'll always remember Amanda for that smile and think that it never went away even as she fought for her life.

Amanda you have taught me to never lose myself to an illness and stay true to my character. I have been looking up to you for so many years. You are truly magical and touched more lives than you can ever imagine. Everyone who knows me, knows you. I will see you again and we can make up for the distance we had and enjoy that cup of coffee together and laugh together reminiscing. Love you, my hero Amanda.
