Obituary of Patrick Paschal McCloskey

Patrick Paschal McCloskey, 87, of Manalapan, passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at his home. Patrick was born in Dungivin Derry, Ireland. Patrick was employed as a NYCT track workerfor 20 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed smoking his pipe.

Patrick was predeceased by his parents John and Elizabeth McCloskey; his wife Elizabeth McCloskey; sisters Moira McHenry and Dympna McCloskey and brothers Tony and Sean McCloskey. He is survived by his step-son Brian Shevlin (Denise); brother Dermott McCloskey and grandchildren Patrick and AnnMarie Shevlin.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, May 12^thfrom 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Monday, May 13^th at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, 361 Sharrott Avenue, Staten Island, NY.
