Obituary of William Francis Cosulich

Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

William Francis Cosulich, Jr, 67, passed away peacefully at his home in Marlboro, NJ on March 31st, 2024.

Bill was born on August 29,1956 in Rockville Centre, New York to William Cosulich and Anne McBreen. He was the oldest of four children and graduated from Holy Trinity High School, the University of Pennsylvania (B.S.E) and Washington University in St. Louis (M.D).  After graduation, he moved to New Jersey and built a successful dermatology practice. He was well respected by both his patients and his peers - known for his kindness and clinical acumen.

In addition to being an accomplished physician, he was a devout Catholic and faithful member of St. Gabriel’s Church, avid sailor, voracious reader, lifelong learner and skilled investor. What he was most proud of though, was his family. While at UPenn, he met the love of his life and future dance partner, Nancy Shen.  They were married in 1981 and settled in Marlboro, New Jersey to raise their sons, William and Michael.  He was a dedicated and loving father - a constant on the sidelines at all their extracurricular events.

William was predeceased by his parents, William and Anne Cosulich and brothers John and Joseph Cosulich.

He is survived by his wife Nancy; sons William (Kristen) and Michael; granddaughter Mila; sister Jeanne (Anthony) DiProperzio; sister-in-law Judy Giancristofaro; nephews Joseph and Matthew Giancristofaro, Anthony, Joseph, Vincent, and John Paul DiProperzio; nieces Patricia Cosulich Smith, Mary Margaret, Anne Marie, Catherine and Lisa DiProperzio and uncle Edwin McBreen (Arlene).

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, April 5th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North.  A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's MAIN Church on Saturday at 12:30 PM.
