Obituary of Flora Castiglia

Flora Castiglia, 100, of Marlboro, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Flora was born in New York, New York before moving to Marlboro, NJ 33 years ago. She found most joy in spending time with her family. Ever the loving mother, wife and grandma, her home was always filled with the happiness and joy she brought to everything. Strong in her faith and spirit, she was an inspiration to all who had the pleasure to know her and will be greatly missed.

Flora was predeceased by her parents Fidele and Elisa; loving spouse Philip; daughter Jeanette Scibelli and brother Angelo Giarletta. She is survived by her son Philip Castiglia, daughter-in- law, Mary Castiglia, son-in-law, Richard Scibelli; grandchildren Crista Finocchio, Jonelle Mustich, Philip Castiglia and Christopher (CJ) Castiglia and great-grandchildren Penelope Mustich, Luke Finocchio, Cameron Mustich, Maxwell Mustich, Jameson Finocchio, Talya Castiglia and Zachary Castiglia.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, March 1st, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A funeral liturgy will be held at St. Gabriel's Historic Church on Saturday, March 2^nd at 11:00 AM. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum.
