I met Steve in about 2000 while working as defense counsel. In my early years, I was the Richmond County presence for Nationwide Insurance Company. I instantly took a liking to him in the limited times I initially dealt with him. Steve came across as a decent, quality person. My opinion of him only grew as I got to know him better. In September of 2002 I joined Ameduri Gallante and became a full-time plaintiff's personal injury attorney. Because of that got to know Steve much better. Ameduri Gallante fostered a family atmosphere, and Steve was part of our extended family. He regularly joined us for Friday lunches at Denino's. At that point, I learned that we were born days apart in Brooklyn and that he had attended New Dorp H.S.. Steve knew my wife Phyllis and her entire group of friends who I jokingly referred to as the "Rydell" cult. He was a through, thoughtful attorney who I trusted so much that he became the only person whom I would send my clients to with their workers Compensation cases. I repeatedly picked his brain on all things Workers Comp. He graciously imparted his know to me. Most importantly, he was a good, decent and caring person. I am proud to have called him a friend and will remember him forever. R.I.P. my friend.

Deepest condolences to your family. I know Steven many years. We went to school together from Elementary through High School. He was always a kind and gentle person. I never saw him without a smile on his face or without a basketball in his hand! I'm happy I got to run into him occasionally, as we lived close by in NJ. Our daughters are the same age and went to the same school. Marissa, your father adores you! He will always be remembered.

Over the past 3 1/2 years my wife Kyle and I had the pleasure of walking with Steve through Holmdel Park or Bell Works whenever we could. We had wonderful conversations about life, our families, politics and whatever happened to be hot topic of the day. Steve had an amazing insight into people. He never had anything bad so say about anyone and always saw the glass as half full. It was so wonderful to hear him talk about his amazing wife and he was so proud of his daughter Marissa. We will always cherish our memories of Steve and are so thankful for the time we shared together.

A #1 knick fan. Steve and I could talk for days about basketball. We did get together for golf a few times to talk more basketball.
Always a great lawyer and friend.
I was hoping to get to a Knick game with him but god took him too quickly.
Good nite my friend
