I am very saddened to here uncle Sonny has past. He was always happy to see you, smiling and laughing. That's what I remember most whenever we all got together.
Best wishes

I will always remember what a kind soul Uncle Sonny was. My summers at the lake when he would sail us around in the boat and tell us to duck when the sail was being moved over our heads. I was excited when he would visit Bells Labs and I worked at Western Electric. He would walk over to visit and chat. Then he stepped in for my Dad at my wedding for the father daughter dance. That meant everything to me and he made me look good . Your in my thoughts.

I'm thinking of my cousins during your time of loss. I have lost my pen pal! That is such a nice photo of Uncle Sonny, it's absolutely as I remember him! I remember times at the camp in NH, even though it was, um,... a number of years ago. Your family was always so inclusive and welcoming to us, and Uncle Sonny was quite patient as he tried to make sailors out of us! Love to you all.

My deepest sympathy to the Roden family. I fondly remember Charlie from years of sailing at Monmouth Boat Club. He was a wise and kind soul.

To the Roden family,
It is with great sorrow learning of Mr Roden's passing. I was Mr. Roden's audiologist for many years and we always talked about sailing and ships (I'm a Navy veteran). After I told him I had a sailing experience on the US Coast Guard's tall ship EAGLE, he painted a beautiful rendition of the vessel for me which I will continue to cherish.
Mr Roden was a true gentleman - a classy guy. I will miss him.
Prayers for a release of anxiety for the family in the time of loss
