Being as far away from New Jersey as Ireland is, I never got to see Uncle Kevin enough. When we did meet, he was always great "craic". I had always heard, from many people about the great footballer he was in his youth, and I always figured that was where we got the football genes from. Old age is a privilege not everyone gets to partake in, what incredible things he saw in a lifetime from that small house in Kilamaun to Manalapan NJ. A life well lived, and now in his Heavenly body with the Lord, all suffering gone.
