My dear Uncle Joe, you and my Dad, your brother, Frank, were quite a pair. I love you as much as my Dad. Your relationship made for such fun times when we were together with your sisters, & in-laws & all the cousins. You laughed & joked around… big smiles…great memories. 95 in almost 2 weeks made us so blessed to have you for so much longer than the others but I know you were greeted by a crowd… your people!! Heaven is better having you there, as we cry & miss all of you. Rest in Peace Uncle Joe. You’re always in my heart & prayers. Please send me signs from above.
All my love, Diane & Billy

My sincere sympathy on the loss of your Dad and my sweet uncle Joey. Uncle Joey was such a kind hearted, happy, gentle, funny, giving man. I will always remember how much he loved and worried about his sisters , my Mom, Rosie and dear Aunt Josie. He always called and visited them, showered them with goodies, especially wonderful baked goods from the best Brooklyn bakeries. He treated them to many lunches and dinners over the years, but most of all, I remember, he shared their laughter always!! That was such a bond with them, they had such a great time laughing when they were together! May they all be reunited and resume their laughter and love in Heaven! Love and know you will be missed always, dear Uncle, Roseanne Mistretta, yr niece

Mr Magri was the sweetest soul! He was always smiling and happy! The folks at the Chelsea voted him ”King of the Chelsea”. In his quiet way, he brought happiness to others. He will be remembered for his fast walk, infectious smile and his devotion to his family. He will truly be missed.
