Obituary of Edmund "Ed" Heller
Edmund “Ed” Heller, 54, long time resident of Manalapan, passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2024. He was born in Bronx, New York. His job, as director of sales, gave him an opportunity for him and his family to live in a number of states. He loved coaching rec, travel and all-star baseball in the Manalapan Youth Baseball Program. He also served on the board of the Manalapan Youth Baseball Program for a number of years. Ed loved sports and was an avid NY Yankees and NY Giants fan. He passed down that love of baseball to his family. Ed loved cooking and was known for his elaborate meals: most notably his traditional Thanksgiving meal.
Ed was predeceased by his parents Edmund R. and Winifred M. Heller. He is survived by his loving wife Leslie; his three beloved children Will, Chelsea and Brandon as well as his dog Angus. his sisters Eileen Heller of Del Ray Beach, FL and Mary Beth Heller of Sparta, NJ and brother Richard Heller of Flemington, NJ.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation will be held on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 2:00pm – 6:00pm at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ 07726. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Monmouth County SPCA.
