To Debbie’s Family:
I worked with Debbie at AT&T for several years. Our desks were located right next to each other. This is when I got to know your wonderful, incredible Mom. Please accept my deepest condolences.
To Debbie:
I know that this will sound cliché but you have often been in my thoughts. I believe the last time we saw each other was about 10 years ago. I can’t recall if it was when we (me, you & Noris) met for dinner at Carrabba’s or was it when we had dinner at Noris’ home? I have been telling myself to pick up the phone and make plans to get together with you. This past Tuesday (Jan 30th), just “out of the blue” I Googled your name. I was absolutely shocked and saddened to learn of your passing. I couldn’t believe it. What happened my friend?
I instantly had a flood of memories enter my mind. My memories included your daily phone calls to Mary, Tina and Anthony, checking in on them during the school day. Making sure homework was getting done and any sibling arguments brought under control (LOL). The pride and love you had for each of them would shine through when you would speak about them. I marveled how you could work all day at AT&T and then head to the East Brunswick Chateau to work banquets. I remember your stories about the fish market and working there on Christmas Eve. Your job at Citibank, making that early morning bus commute. Buying your home on Federal Road, renovating the kitchen. Kissing your cat!! I could go on.
Debbie, I will always remember you as the nicest, most hard working, high energy, great cook, smart, humble and funny person I have had the privilege of knowing. I mean every word. I admire you.
I have no doubt that you are now in a place of incomprehensible beauty. Rest In Peace, dear Debbie.

I am going to miss seeing Debbie in the office. In the morning, she would warn me about any disgruntled customer calls that might come my way. I would order the hazelnut creamer just for her. For Christmas she bought me perfume, now I will think of her when I wear it. May she rest in peace.

I feel so very lucky and blessed to have called Debster my friend.
I was so saddened and heartbroken to hear about her sudden death.
Praying that God gives her beautiful family and friends the strength and faith we need to accept his will.
I will miss her always.
With sympathy, Dee
