Obituary of Michael J Freiday
Michael J. Freiday, 66 of Jackson Twp., NJ passed away at home on Saturday, October 21, 2023. He was born in Orange, NJ and retired as an Enforcement Officer for the Department of Environmental Protection and Energy Agency of New Jersey. Michael was an “Irish boy” in his soul. He loved airplanes, reading, Formula 1 car racing, Marvel comics, nature and space exploration and had a love of karate and Bruce Lee. He was an outstanding husband, brother, uncle and great-uncle to Luke. Michael’s interest and love for travel led him to Tahiti, Alaska, France, England, Belgium and Ireland.
He was predeceased by his parents and his three siblings, Robert, Karen and Ellen. He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy of 41 years; his sister Lauren Freiday and many friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 26, 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a funeral service starting at noon at the Freeman Funeral Home, 47 East Main Street, Freehold, NJ 07728.
