Obituary of Philip Cavaliere

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother Philip Cavaliere, 51, of Englewood NJ, who passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023.  Philip was home grown from Queens; he was born and raised in Whitestone, New York and received his Bachelor's degree in Communications from Queens College.  He moved to Long Island City and eventually settled in Englewood, NJ.  He had a successful career as a Financial Advisor at JP Morgan Chase where he was admired by both colleagues and clients alike. Philip loved his family and always made time for his friends.  He loved to travel, take long walks with his dog Lola and had a true passion for golf and fitness. 

Philip was predeceased by his mother Aleyda Salas.  He is survived by his father Benedict Cavaliere and step-mother Denise Cavaliere; sister Linda Altieri and brothers Gabriel Jimenez and Vincent Minan.  His spirit will forever live in our hearts, and we invite you to join us in celebrating his life and saying our final goodbyes at a Memorial Mass which will be held at St. Thomas More Roman Catholic Church on Saturday October 14th at 11:30 AM.   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Philip's name to the Mental Health Association in NJ, Inc.
