Obituary of Doris Anzano

Doris (Nittoli) Anzano, 88, of Manalapan, NJ passed away on September 2, 2023 at Springpoint Living in Manalapan.  She moved from Forked River to Manalapan over 20 years ago.  She was a lifelong resident of New Jersey.  Doris worked as a sales associate for S.S. Kresge, Ohrbach’s and Bamberger’s, a true lover of clothes.  She also helped out in her husband’s furniture store, M&D Decorators.  Later in life, she became a full-time caretaker to her mother.  Doris had no children but loved her family above all.  She is survived by many nieces and nephews whom she loved as her own.  Doris loved animals and enjoyed watching t.v., her stories and the news. 

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Dominic Anzano in 1979, and her parents, Joseph and Mazie Nittoli.  Doris, the youngest of seven children, is predeceased by five sisters, Elaine Mari, Julie Marcell, Marie Frino, Eva Mistretta, Carol Camardella and one brother, Anthony Nittoli.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ  07726.  A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 11:30am at St. Thomas More R.C.
