Obituary of Monroe Reiner

Monroe Reiner, 88, of Colts Neck, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, August 11, 2023. Monroe was born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, relocating to Monmouth County after completing dental school, and eventually settling in Colts Neck 27 years ago. In recent years he also spent time at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida.  A dentist until his early retirement at the age of 44, Monroe then launched a second career as a Certified Financial Planner. In his spare time he enjoyed closely following financial news, playing basketball and watching the New York Knicks, and cheering on the New York Giants.

Monroe was predeceased by his parents Betty and Oscar Reiner, as well as his sister Arlene Querido and his son-in-law John Blumberg. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years Barbara Reiner; his children and their spouses Keith (Lori) Reiner of Ambler PA, Dana Blumberg of Denver CO and Alyssa (Stan Mroczkowski) Reiner of Washington DC and his beloved grandchildren Matthew, Elizabeth, Catherine, Alexandra, Olivia and Zachary.

Friends and family are invited to attend his graveside service on Monday August 14th at 1:00 PM at Beth Israel Cemetery, Woodbridge. Luncheon to follow at Harold’s New York Deli in Edison, NJ.
