Obituary of Sebastian Salvatore Cultraro

Sebastian “Ben” Salvatore Cultraro, 93, of Monroe Twp., passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family and dear caretaker Goldy.  He was born in New York, NY and was employed by Zale’s as an expert diamond buyer.  Sebastian served his country as a Corporal in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.

Sebastian was predeceased by his wife Pauline and Pauline’s daughter Leslie.  He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Robin Shatsky of Marlboro, NJ as well as his four grandchildren, Jake and Nicole Shatsky and Brandon and Zachary Howard and his beloved grand dog Zoey.

A chapel service will be held on Friday, July 7, 2023 at 9:30am at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery in Marlboro, NJ.  Burial will follow at the cemetery.  Arrangements are entrusted with the Freeman Manalapan Marlboro Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North, Manalapan, NJ  07726.  The Cultraro/Shatsky family will be receiving friends and guests at the Cultraro home at 9 Aberdeen Way, Monroe Twp, NJ on Friday, July 7, starting at 3:00pm to 8:00pm and Saturday, July 8, from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. To find directions to the cemetery or leave a message of condolence, please visit our website at www.freemanfuneralhomes.com.
