Obituary of Anthony T. Notaro

Anthony “Tony” Notaro, 86, of Marlboro NJ was born In Brooklyn NY in 1937. He
passed away on Friday, June 30, 2023 at home with his family around him. Tony
was a NYC Fireman for 27 years. He started his career at Engine 250 in Brooklyn
before retiring out of Engine 154 in Staten Island. He was also an experienced
electrician and general contractor.
His faith and family were extremely important to him, and he was most proud of his
children and grandchildren.
Tony was predeceased and welcomed into eternal peace by his parents Teresa and
Joseph Mazzaferro, brother Joseph Mazzaferro and mother-in-law, Mary DeMarco.
Survived by his wife Mary Notaro of 60 years, his daughter Debra and husband
Chris Carnesi and grandsons Christopher and Vincent Carnesi and son Anthony
Notaro and granddaughter Chloe Notaro.
Friends and family are invited to visit on Sunday, July 2, from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at
Freeman Funeral Home, 344 Route 9 North. A service will be held on Sunday, July 2
at Freeman Funeral Home.
