Obituary of Theresa Weber

Theresa Weber, passed away peacefully at Centra State Medical Center on June 27, 2023. She was 90 years old.  Born October 8, 1932, in Carteret, NJ, she resided there until moving to Manalapan, NJ with her family in 1972.  She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  An avid lover of sports, Theresa was a long-time fan of the Mets.  She was an avid reader and especially enjoyed mysteries and historical novels.

Predeceased by her husband Ernest, parents Frank and Blanche Penkul, siblings Josephine, Genevieve, Pauline, Celeste, Sophie, and Henry.  Theresa is survived by daughter Nancy Bohnarczyk & husband Steve; son Bruce Weber; daughter Jean Marie Layton & husband Bill: daughter Eileen Weber; son Wayne Weber; Grandchildren: Katie Melesurgo, Andrew Bohnarcyzk and wife Alexa, Bradley Bohnarcyzk, Emery Ng and husband Ryan, Hanna and Ryan Ng, Olivia and Liam Layton; great-granddaughters Quinn and Sadie Melesurgo, and Brielle Bohnarczyk; and many nieces and nephews. 

The funeral arrangements are being handled by Freeman Funeral Home,344 Rt. 9 North, Manalapan.   Wake will be held Saturday, July 1 with a mass following at Our Lady of Mercy Church.  A graveside service will be held at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Millstone.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Manalapan/Englishtown First Aid Squad.  To leave a condolence for the family, please visit www.freemanfuneralhomes.com
